Today Casabella represents the marriage of tradition and innovation. The tradition that is breathed in Ziano, at the historic estate which once belonged to the noble Montemartini family, and in Castell’Arquato, where the company has its administrative and production facilities since 1998, when the desire to bind the product to the land, taking advantage of the opportunity to buy a wine cellar near the town of Castell’Arquato.
This place is steeped in history, the scene of great loves and unforgettable contentions, and today it inspires the work of the wine cellar, looking to the future while putting into practice the teachings of tradition.
The move was the ideal opportunity for creating a cutting-edge production facility, managed by qualified staff who value the wine as one of the product of excellences of this land.
Washing, bottling, labelling, packaging: the vision of this production line is always a splendid show for visitors, along with the large steel vats, where the wine rests, waiting to be enjoyed.
This modern facility supports the older, traditional winery located in Ziano, on the Casa Bella estate.
Two settings that create the natural backdrop for the vocation to continuous research into quality products, reflecting the environment in which the grapes are grown and which are an integral part.
With a high turnover and a consolidated presence on the domestic market, the company also looks to international markets. Large steps have been made, particularly in Korea and East Asia, with exciting new prospects towards the markets of South America, the United States and New Zealand. And in 2014 the target of half a million EUR sales in the South American continent was reached, thanks to the export of products in the Mont’Arquato range, without forgetting the “Lambrusco Emilia IGT”, a typical local product which is highly appreciated abroad.
